The Technology and Cyber Compliance and Operational Risk Office (TCCORO) at Citi is like having a trustworthy second set of eyes. Our goal is to drive comprehensive practices to identify, measure, monitor, report, and manage operational and compliance risks while promoting actions to address root causes that could lead to unintended losses or breaches. Think of us as the specialists who challenge Enterprise, Infrastructure, Operations, and Technology entities at the bank. We are the ones who keep an eye on technology and cyber matters within the bank. Following Operational Risk Management (ORM) and Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) frameworks, we ensure that internal controls designed to mitigate technology and cyber risks are well managed, mitigated, and in line with our risk tolerance.

What your role involves:

  • Supporting the review of compliance, technology, and cyber policies, procedures, tools, and processes to challenge and minimize losses from technology and cyber risks.
  • Evaluating technology and cyber risks, and proposing actions to address root causes of operational risk losses by challenging existing and proposed practices.
  • Assessing and challenging Key Risks and associated indicators.
  • Examining potential risks related to technical aspects of program/project delivery.
  • Participating in various technology and cyber assessments including risk evaluations, control assessments, and maturity assessments.
  • Offering insight on the design and strength of the control environment related to technology and cyber, and suggesting actions to align with our risk appetite.
  • Supporting various ad-hoc activities within the TCCORO organization, such as research for presentations, coordinating audit-related tasks, and maintaining data for reporting.
  • Assessing technology and cyber risks linked to new initiatives and proposed programs.

Your profile should include:

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Exposure to capital markets preferred (e.g., sales & trading).
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in technology and cyber risk assessments, metrics, enterprise technology services, and controls within complex organizations.
  • Strong understanding of technology and cyber risks and controls across various domains.
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks and technology and cyber risk mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-starter, flexible, innovative, and adaptive.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
