The Tech and Cyber Compliance and Operational Risk Office (TCCORO) at Citi is the firm's reliable second set of eyes. Our goal is to drive comprehensive and consistent practices to identify, measure, monitor, report, and manage operational and compliance risks while encouraging the implementation of actions to address root causes that could lead to unintended operational losses or regulatory breaches. TCCORO provides expert subject matter professionals to challenge Enterprise, Infrastructure, Operations, and Technology entities across the firm. We are the technology and cyber conscience of the bank. Following the Operational Risk Management (ORM) and Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) frameworks, we aim to ensure that internal controls designed to mitigate tech and cyber risks are managed, mitigated, and aligned with our risk appetite.

You, as a **Senior Analyst - Risk Analytics & Regulation Reporting**, are part of the Risk Analytics & Reporting team, an essential function for TCCORO, providing deep analysis, business process re-engineering/automation, and problem-solving to support executive planning, execution, and decision-making. The role involves collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders and SMEs to enhance processes in line with our operational and compliance risk management frameworks. An ideal candidate will have experience in global financial services, expertise in reporting, analytics, and project management, showcasing a strong interest in risk management and a passion for data analytics.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Serve in an execution role to support the development of analytics-driven solutions and reporting that improve stakeholders' decision-making.
  • Provide robust risk analytics and insights using various data analysis techniques.
  • Independently analyze complex datasets to design analytic solutions, including developing data visualization tools and advanced reporting for senior decision-making.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and oversight of various reporting solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancement and contribute to enforcing common data standards, processes, and technology platforms.
  • Conduct analysis, prepare reports, and create presentations for senior management, stakeholder discussions, and regulatory interactions.
  • Present findings and analysis in a clear and polished manner understandable by all levels of professionals.
  • Execute ad-hoc tasks for the TCCORO organization, such as preparing materials for senior leadership presentations and coordinating audit deliverables.

Your qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in Banking, Finance, or consulting with a focus on data analysis or data science.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in programming languages and/or analytical packages.
  • Degree in finance, accounting, analytics, operations research, statistics, mathematics, or related field with relevant work experience. Master's degree preferred.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Storytelling skills using data and visualizations to share findings and insights with key executives and stakeholders.
  • Experience in building data models or using analytics tools for advanced use cases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions clearly and concisely.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and a team player.
  • Interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels and across functions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Tableau is preferred.
