R2R / GL Accountant

Preparation and review of journal entries, calculating accruals/provisions related to period-end activities,
Handle General Ledger activities such as: perform period-end procedures of month, quarter, year-end closing activities for non-complex entities, fixed assets handling, balance sheet reconciliation, sub-ledgers to GL reconciliations, reporting, etc.
Ensure compliance with company accounting and operational guidelines, as well as IFRS and local statutory GAAP,Overseeing bank accounts incl. unapplied and unreconciled Items,
Checking and analyzing SAP details on an ongoing basis to be able to catch any potential posting errors or process issues,
Intercompany and loan reconciliations, analyze variances and initiate corrective actions,
Support the execution of activities related to internal and external audit requirements,
Work with local or SSC finance teams to resolve discrepancies and queries for related accounting issues in a timely manner,
Comply with standards, policies and procedures defined,
Assisting in developing and implementing processes and procedures.
Our requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting, Economics or recognized accounting qualification
- 4 years professional experience in finance& accounting, including 2 years of
Service Centre
Good skills (B2) in spoken and written English (other languages are welcome)
Practical knowledge of integrated ERP system
Good user knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel skills
Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work with deadlines and stress
situations
Teamwork and ability to work in changing environment with different cultures
Customer focus and good communication skills
Ability to identify and implement improvement opportunities
Proactivity and analytical skills.

Job Description Due to the dynamic development of Danfoss Shared Service Center, we are looking for the
position of GL Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for performing general ledger
operational tasks for Danfoss entities located in NER or TMA regions.
