Join Us as a Security Manager

Viator is currently in search of a proficient Security Manager with a solid background in both software and security engineering. In this role, you will lead our Security and Compliance Engineering team, directly reporting to the head of our engineering division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and tackle our most critical security risks
  • Enhance the Security Incident response procedure
  • Strengthen Viator's incident detection and response capabilities
  • Drive the Risk and Compliance initiatives
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to embed security best practices
  • Implement automated security tools
  • Establish and oversee the security champions program
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in managing security teams in a software development environment
  • DevOps mindset towards security
  • Knowledge of public Cloud providers like AWS, GCP, Azure
  • Ability to mentor team members and foster collaboration
  • Proficiency in information security frameworks and standards
Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience in leading security initiatives for engineering platforms
  • Proficiency in securing large-scale distributed systems
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native applications and CI/CD
  • Familiarity with PCI DSS and managing multiple engineering/security teams
