Group Manager, Product Marketing: Platform, Technical & Security

Role: Group Product Marketing Manager

Function: Lead the team overseeing Zendesk's technical and security product marketing. Drive Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and execution for Zendesk's range of technical and security platform features. Manage a team of product marketers handling various Product Marketing Management (PMM) functions to achieve company objectives, collaborating with product, sales, and marketing leaders.

The Group Manager will recruit and supervise a team of 3 additional PMMs in Krakow to support the following activities:

What you and your team will do:

  • Lead a team of product marketers to execute GTM strategies in multiple security/technical product areas while instilling purpose, impact, and value in their work.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the CX market regarding security and technical requirements, personas, and competitors.
  • Create and own product narratives that effectively convey security and technical positioning and messaging in the market.
  • Contribute team insights to elevate messaging across products/features and mentor on individual product and feature messaging.
  • Coordinate marketing and enablement initiatives across various technical and security product areas.
  • Manage technical and security release marketing efforts, guiding the team from roadmap updates to launch announcements and events.
  • Represent technical and security PMM in cross-functional projects, aligning with leaders in Product, Marketing, Sales, Success, Analyst, and other departments.
  • Showcase and mentor the team on developing strong and clear presentation skills for Zendesk leaders, GTM team audiences, and customers.
  • Mentor the team in creating materials supporting customer-facing assets and interactions such as sales pitch decks and customer stories.
What you bring to the table:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Product Marketing and/or Product Management in software and technology, preferably with SaaS and/or Customer Experience/Service software exposure.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a high-performing team, including coaching and development.
  • Proficient in storytelling with clarity and simplicity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail and ability to process information swiftly to meet tight deadlines.
  • Executive presence enabling engagement with senior leadership in a positive and collaborative manner.
  • Ready to support execution as well as strategy implementation.
  • Outcome-focused, self-motivated, and customer-centric mindset.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Fluency in English.
Nice to haves:

This leader will report to the Senior Director, Product Marketing: Platform, WEM, Voice, and will closely collaborate with a team of platform product marketers based in AMER.
