Accounting and Reporting Supervisor (Captive Insurance)

Captive Operations Group

What to Expect:

As an Accounting and Reporting Supervisor, your responsibilities will include managing accounting, regulatory compliance, and administrative tasks for a portfolio of captive insurance companies and other clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements following local GAAP accurately and promptly for multiple clients
  • Reconcile and process insurance transactions
  • Monitor and record claim activities
  • Evaluate investment portfolios
  • Support annual audits for clients
  • Aid in regulatory filings
  • Maintain organized client files
  • Handle client communication as required
  • Assist in preparing materials for board meetings

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in finance/accounting/controlling within insurance, brokerage, or audit firms
  • MA or BA degree
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Initiative and persistence in issue resolution

Stand-Out Qualifications:

  • ACCA/CIMA/CPA qualified or in progress
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong prioritization and deadline management abilities
