We are looking for a Commercial Business Analyst based in Gdansk or Warsaw. This is a temporary role due to a parental leave cover for 6 months .

How to contribute to our vision

As a Commercial Business Analyst, you provide financial and administrative support to management and act as a trusted partner for the technical organizations. You will work closely with technical heads and controllers in DK, DE, TW and UK to ensure high data quality and forecast accuracy on their Cost Centers.

Cost Center Controlling:

  • Conducting Cost Center controlling and Management reporting
  • Preparation of financial budgets and forecasts
  • Performing ad hoc analyses, reporting and controlling task
  • Investigating and understanding deviations and abnormalities between financial submissions (Budget, Forecast, Actuals) and ensuring detailed commenting
  • Timely and correct invoicing / cost transfer for services and deliverables provided by the department
  • You will be the main contact person for all commercial topics related to your specific area of responsibility

Other responsibilities:

  • Act as key user for various systems (S4/HANA, etc) as required
  • Responsible for data consolidation and analysis for global departments
  • Provide guidance to local controllers and coordinate the closing and forecasting activities for your function from global perspective
  • Improvement for digitalization in the commercial process (using PowerBI, Alteryx, SQL etc.)

What you need to make a difference

You are passionate for renewable energy and have a sense for the importance to make real what matters and lead the change. You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration or similar and you have more than three years' experience in commercial or controlling areas, previous experience from accounting, reporting and controlling tasks in complex environment will be an advantage.

As a person you are result-/solution-oriented, well-structured, diligent and a dedicated team player with strong analytical skills.

Good command of SAP and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, VBA) is required, experience with SQL, PowerBI, Alteryx preferredYou possess excellent English skills, both orally and in writing.

You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are capable of working with people from different cultures and organizational levels
