The Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst II. This role is essential for the development and implementation of Operations Readiness plans, managing comprehensive UAT plans, and contributing significantly to our team's achievements.

General Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performs analyses of the business goals, objectives, and needs in the general business environment related to the appropriate FIS segment.
  • Conducts research and analysis to support business operations, presenting findings to managers or project leaders.
  • Be prepared for late shifts, demonstrating flexibility to accommodate US working hours, preferably till pm CET.
  • Designs and plans business processes, suggesting changes to enhance business systems and activities for improved efficiency.
  • Utilizes data and systems to resolve business issues effectively.
  • Identifies and implements best practices, recommending enhancements to current processes.
  • Estimates costs and benefits of different actions to evaluate their viability and return on investment.
  • Develops solutions to address problems and challenges in business operations.
  • Analyzes and documents business processes and metrics, identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Provides training to internal staff on changes in business practices or procedures.
  • Conducts special projects as needed.

General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Understanding of FIS' products and services.
  • Knowledge of business goals, objectives, and operations within the relevant FIS organization.
  • Familiarity with the financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in office software such as MS Office, Visio, and MS Access.
  • Expertise in industry-standard process methodologies like Six Sigma, LEAN, ISO, and CMM.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for various organizational levels.
  • Readily shares knowledge and expertise with team members.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence and persuade others towards optimal solutions.
  • Proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas.
