Your role
You will work in collaborative teams with colleagues from different areas, focusing on clinical development projects in the field of medical dermatology. As a Medical Expert, your contributions will be crucial in providing medical and strategic insights.

Your primary goals include:

  • Advancing drug development projects alongside your team, finding solutions to challenges that may arise.
  • Providing medical input for clinical trials from inception to completion, including designing, conducting, and reporting on trials. This entails working on trial outlines, protocols, reports, regulatory documents, investigator's brochures, and publications.
  • Influencing the strategic direction of our drug development projects by shaping the medical and scientific aspects of the Clinical Development Plan.
  • Assisting in the continued growth of our department by enhancing our processes and methodologies.
  • Representing LEO Pharma in engagements with external stakeholders such as investigators, therapeutic experts, and regulatory bodies.

You will be based at either LEO Pharma HQ in Ballerup or Gdansk, with an estimated 10 days of annual travel to meet partners and colleagues, primarily in Europe and the US.

Your qualifications
This role is tailored for individuals who excel in an entrepreneurial setting focused on medical dermatology. The ability to effectively communicate and convey results and recommendations is essential.

Position requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD) coupled with pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Background in clinical research, such as a PhD.
  • Experience in clinical drug development (either as a sponsor or investigator).
  • Knowledge/expertise in medical dermatology or the anti-inflammatory domain.
