Position Overview

The ICT Industry Sales Manager plays a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies across all go-to-market channels to support TE's Industrial and Commercial Transportation Business Unit (ICT) growth objectives. This position involves analyzing the Small & Medium Business sector on a global scale, identifying best practices, regional strengths, and customer requirements.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of ICT Global Sales, the responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing a cohesive growth strategy and key performance indicators for Small & Medium customers in collaboration with regional sales teams.
  • Forecasting customer group growth and ICT's GTM Channels in partnership with regional sales leads.
  • Monitoring service level agreements to meet EETC goals related to E-commerce availability, lead times, and shipping targets through Distribution partners.
  • Collaborating with ICT Sales, Product Management, Pricing, and Marketing teams to drive digital growth.
  • Engaging with the Channel business unit as the Global Distribution Lead for ICT to oversee forecasts, distributor performance, inventory, and market expansion.
  • Coordinating with Application Focus Growth teams to enhance cross-business unit product sales in existing markets.
  • Introducing innovation in sales processes, tools, and methodologies to boost efficiency.
  • Providing regular reports to senior management on sales strategy progress and insights.
  • Utilizing market intelligence to develop data-driven program recommendations.
  • Supporting global sales initiatives led by the VP of Sales, including forecasting, revenue enhancement, and employee engagement.
  • Acting as the sales representative for enterprise projects concerning customers and processes within the ICT Business Unit.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field; additional education is beneficial.
  • 5-10 years of sales, product management, or technical marketing experience in a B2B or technology company.
  • Familiarity with distribution partners, competitors, and industry challenges to shape strategies effectively.
  • Ability to influence internal stakeholders without direct reporting relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills with a deep understanding of marketing trends.
  • Analytical proficiency and comfort working with data.
  • Innovative thinking and willingness to challenge conventions.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing abilities.
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships across all levels of an organization.
