Accounts Payable Team Leader

Your responsibilities

  • Lead the recently established team, focusing on improving efficiency and setting clear goals
  • Actively engage in the end-to-end accounts payable process, including receiving, reviewing, and processing invoices
  • While being also operative, give guidance and promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing
  • Analyse existing workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Establish and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Provide hands-on training to team members, sharing best practices and ensuring skill development
  • Conduct regular audits and ensure an up to date process documentation

Our requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • Proven experience in an accounts payables role, with hands-on expertise in invoice processing
  • Leadership experience or demonstrated leadership potential
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and proficiency in AP automation tools
  • Previous experience in driving process improvements and implementing system enhancements
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
