JOB PROFILE:
We are looking for an engineering leader who excels in working with people and software. As a leader, you should be enthusiastic about creating an environment where software engineers can thrive. You should possess a solid grasp of modern development techniques and collaborate with the team to identify the best solutions. We seek someone who advocates for clean code, TDD, pair programming, and values feedback. You will have autonomy to drive the team towards technical excellence and stay updated on best practices in your field.
  • Lead a team of skilled software engineers with diverse expertise.
  • Mentor engineers by providing support, feedback, setting goals, and assessing performance.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and contribute to decision-making.
  • Participate in shaping the culture and engineering practices of the entire Tribe.
  • Engage in coding activities to set an example for the team.
Required:
  • Experience in leading high-performing teams in an agile setting.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and backend frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to guide colleagues towards common goals.
  • Broad technical knowledge to comprehend the squad's services, challenge ideas, and lead technical discussions.
  • Hands-on coding experience focusing on clean code, design patterns, TDD, and pair programming.
Desirable experience:
  • Background in cloud-native applications, preferably AWS.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
