Aliaxis is currently hiring a new Data Platform team Leader to lead a team of +- 10 people in our IT Hub in Wroclaw; Poland

You will oversee and guide the IT Data Platform team, leading effort to design, architect, and build the EMEA data platform.

Job description

Managing a team of 10, the Data Platform Team Leader will on top of his leader role, will be the bridge between IT and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of priorities and progress.

  • Roadmap & project planning

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate team members to achieve performance targets and objectives. Manage daily operations, including projects, priorities, and user requests. Lead mentoring and personal development plans for the team
  • As a SCRUM Product Owner, maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
  • Collaborate with Business department leaders to understand, analyse, build and deliver new data models, processes, and reports
  • Establish and drive adoption of best practices for data engineering, component re-use, architecture and technical standards
  • Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements. Plan future use cases, and build the multi-year roadmap of the data platform

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Team Leader or similar leadership role, leading an IT BI development team with SCRUM methodology
  • Strong experience in BI&Analytics field
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) & Project Management Professional (PMP) is a strong plus
  • Fluent in English & Polish – any additional European language is a plus.
