HR Specialized Services Leader

We are looking for a skilled and dynamic leader to join the HR Shared Services team leading a group of HR experts who will provide employee support and manage processes throughout the employee life cycle. The team will offer specialized services covering areas such as Talent Management, Learning, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Employee Relations. In this position, you will have oversight of operations, leadership responsibilities, and a strong focus on continuous improvement to enhance the employee experience and achieve operational efficiencies.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Foster a positive employee experience by understanding the unique needs of employees in each country within the EMEA region
  • Supervise the provision of various HR services, including Talent Acquisition, onboarding and offboarding, benefits and compensation administration, employee relations, HR policy interpretation, and employee self-service support
  • Cultivate a culture of empowerment and high performance centered on continuous improvement and service excellence
  • Establish and monitor productivity and performance through SLAs and KPIs, assess metrics with leadership, and implement enhancements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop sustainable solutions, streamline operations, and enhance efficiencies by identifying service delivery constraints and analyzing data-driven root causes
  • Identify process disparities across Operating Companies and countries, propose standardization solutions to ensure a consistent employee experience
  • Assist in resolving complex issues by collaborating with subject matter experts outside of HR Shared Services
  • Stay informed about HR best practices, industry trends, and new technologies to drive innovation and improve service delivery
  • Comprehend business requirements, including volume fluctuations and ad hoc needs, to develop versatile skill sets within the team


TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD HAVE:

  • Experience leading large teams in culturally diverse and hybrid settings
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing teams supporting employees across multiple countries
  • Profound knowledge of shared services industry trends related to location strategies, technology solutions, and process enhancements
  • Experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Fortive Business Solutions
  • Understanding of HR processes from hiring to retirement stages and data privacy principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships at all levels
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving business needs
  • Familiarity with employment laws, regulations, and data privacy standards
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments, maintains flexibility, and excels in prioritizing tasks
  • Proficient in utilizing data sets and KPIs to identify constraints and offer sustainable solutions


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within HR operations
  • Over 5 years of experience with Core HR systems and Shared Service technologies
  • Knowledge of EMEA regulatory requirements with a focus on staying updated on regional labor laws
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills in German, Dutch, French, or Polish are desirable
