Your new opportunity

We are a newly created team working in Business Process Services, and we want you to join us in the exciting challenge of transitioning Finance and Accounting processes. You will be an important part of the ongoing process of migration and transformation currently underway for our client. We are looking for skilled leaders to manage our teams and create experiences that keep the highest level of customer satisfaction. As an Accounting Team Leader, you will play a key role in managing people and building a strong team spirit, coordinating day-to-day operations, building strong relationships with customers, and analyzing and resolving service delivery concerns.

Key areas of responsibilities:

  • Take end-to-end ownership of team performance and processes (team of 5+)
  • Ensure the team meets Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Ensure the team adheres to timelines for Month End and Year End Closings
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and task delegation within the team
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for business and supplier issues
  • Contribute to team metrics by achieving daily productivity and accuracy goals

Knowledge and skills for success:

  • 1+ year of relevant experience in an SSC or BPO environment in coordinating a team
  • Good knowledge of the Procure-to-Pay (PTP) process and understanding of accounting concepts and principles
  • Very good interpersonal skills and a team player mindset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on meeting commitments and a "can-do" attitude
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with F&A applications such as SAP, Oracle, any other ERP, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficiency in English (another European language will be an asset )
