Associate, Marketing Strategist- In-App Marketing Specialist| Retail Bank

We are in search of a smart and data-driven Associate - In-App Marketing Specialist to assist the Retail Bank's marketing initiatives in our Capital One apps. This position plays a vital role in our channel strategy team, being part of the fast-growing Bank Marketing department. You will play a significant role in the team focused on marketing through our Capital One mobile apps to engage customers, promote new products, acquire new accounts, and strengthen customer interaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, execution, monitoring, and optimization of marketing strategies within our Capital One apps
  • Lead the development of new creative content for in-app marketing in collaboration with internal creative teams
  • Define campaign audiences and customer journeys that align with the broader channel strategy
  • Collaborate with other channel strategy leads to synchronize campaigns and customer journeys across various channels
  • Continuously assess campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvements
  • Coordinate with teams across the Bank and Enterprise to ensure campaign alignment with organizational goals
  • Manage stakeholder communications throughout the campaign lifecycle
  • Recommend new testing approaches to enhance audience targeting and creative content to drive business growth efficiently

  • Detail-oriented with strong prioritization, managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, work independently, and handle uncertainties
  • Proficiency in mapping customer journeys and developing corresponding strategies
  • Passion for data analysis and storytelling for decision-making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed campaign execution
  • Thrives in a dynamic business environment
  • Resourceful, innovative, and creative mindset

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in product marketing
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in planning, executing, and analyzing marketing programs
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in creative strategy and optimization frameworks
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in mapping, planning, and managing customer journeys

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of marketing experience in financial services
  • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar platforms
