Job Title: IT Security Associate at EcoVadis Description

Our company's IT Security team is on the hunt for an IT Security Associate to enhance security operations and expertise within our fast-growing team. You will act as the key contact point for aligning IT Security practices, ensuring exceptional service delivery to both internal and external stakeholders.

As the IT Security Associate, you will take charge of driving improvements, serving as the liaison with Sales and Customer Solutions teams. Your understanding of emerging security trends and technologies will play a vital role in adding value to our organization by identifying optimization and automation prospects.

This position, reporting directly to the IT Security Director, will involve the following core responsibilities:

  • Support security questionnaires, conduct contract reviews, and participate in client meetings.
  • Perform security reviews of networks, systems, and platforms, ensuring remediation of any identified vulnerabilities.
  • Organize evidence collection for audits and certifications.
  • Implement a testing strategy to comply with IT Security framework standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate on security guidelines for various technologies.
  • Review SaaS applications used internally and establish an application review process.
  • Enhance non-cloud environment resiliency.
  • Manage external surface security.
  • Maintain security measures documentation and operation.
  • Develop reports and dashboards for project tracking.
  • Promote an IT Security culture and contribute to security awareness materials.
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Assist with other security projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the software or internet service industry,
  • Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field,
  • Ability to work independently and proactively,
  • Experience in security standards implementation,
  • Familiarity with IT Security frameworks,
  • Strong foundation in information security,
  • Experience engaging with clients on security matters,
  • Proficient in creating reports for various stakeholders,
  • Organized and efficient multitasker,
  • Adaptable to changing environments,
  • Fluent in English, French proficiency is a plus,
  • Hands-on experience with Google Workspace.
