Valeo's Wiper Systems Plant in Skawina specializes in the design, manufacturing, painting, and assembly of wiper blades, arms, and mechanisms. The facility also handles the production of wiper motors, supported by a state-of-the-art research and development center.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Analyze stakeholder requirements and develop compliance matrices in collaboration with other disciplines and platforms.
  • Define product architecture and make architecture tradeoffs.
  • Create product system requirements specifications and design product architecture following Valeo and Automotive Spice System Process standards.
  • Ensure clear comprehension of product specifications across different disciplines and platforms.
  • Address product-level issues and lead Design-to-Cost reviews.
Product Analysis:
  • Understand product requirements and stakeholder needs.
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders.
  • Define functional and non-functional product requirements.
  • Identify system functions and allocate requirements accordingly.
  • Utilize modeling and simulation techniques for accurate requirement definition.
Product Architecture Design:
  • Break down functions for sub-system allocation.
  • Lead system architecture definition and establish a product breakdown structure.
  • Allocate functions and detailed requirements to sub-systems.
  • Define interfaces between sub-systems to ensure interoperability.
Cost-efficient Design:
  • Propose physical architecture alternatives and select optimal solutions in collaboration with component contributors and process engineers.
  • Support RFQs and contribute to the compliance matrix.
  • Assist in product functional development planning and schedule product function maturity levels for customer delivery.
Ensuring Product Quality and Compliance:
  • Deliver product design FMEA content and propose solutions to mitigate technical risks.
  • Collaborate with component contributors and Validation Engineers for integration and validation planning.
  • Enforce discipline standards and support design reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with standards to achieve the required Aspice level.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Document best architecture practices and share knowledge across teams.
  • Standardize specifications, technical reports, processes, and guidelines.
  • Engage with customers on discipline architecture content and participate in discipline meetings.
Project Contribution:
  • Meet project objectives in terms of quality, cost, and milestones.
  • Deliver work products on time and contribute to defining project budgets.
  • Participate in project meetings and ensure traceability from customer to system design requirements.
  • Lead system requirements reviews with component contributors and test disciplines.
Requirements for Joining Us:
  • Hold an Engineering or Master of Science degree.
  • Have an Engineering Degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, Physics) or equivalent qualification.
  • Possess 5 to 10 years of experience in the field.
  • Have 5 years of experience with systems, preferably in embedded solutions, with automotive industry experience being a plus.
  • Experience with Visibility products is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with architecture modeling tools and automotive communication networks (LIN/CAN/Ethernet).
  • Proficiency in Polish (Fluency preferred) and English (Upper Intermediate).
