At RapidLab, we create IoT devices from scratch equipped with artificial intelligence algorithms used to automate tasks, monitor the efficiency of machines and production lines, and support enterprises in many other areas. The team you will join currently consists of 6 positive personalities who, in addition to creating solutions, are also involved in finding new, effective ways to solve challenges using the latest technologies. We also cooperate on a daily basis with , a sister company specializing in AI, where you will always find additional support and substantive assistance.

Working as an IoT Tech Lead, you will be responsible for the management, technical development and mentoring of a team of IoT and Edge AI engineers. Your mentees will be people with experience in PCB design, component selection and creating architecture both at the hardware and firmware level, as well as cloud integration, as well as Edge AI specialists. Your position will be largely autonomous, and you will report directly to the Director of IoT & Edge AI and the CEO. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Creating a team development strategy, ensuring the quality of services and products offered
  • Mentoring of IoT engineers
  • Conducting reviews of PCB and firmware designs created by the team
  • Making decisions about the selection of technology, key components and architecture of the offered IoT and Edge AI solutions
  • Monitoring market news in the field of IoT, recommending new technologies and components and gradually implementing them in the everyday work of engineers
  • Implementation and implementation of PoC, MVP and coordination of mass production
  • Implementation of test and production procedures
  • Presales - conversations with customers, recommending services and products, as well as estimating and planning implementation works, close cooperation with the sales team

  • You are fluent in issues related to the IoT and Edge AI market
  • You have 2+ years of experience in managing a technical team
  • You have 5+ years of experience in PCB design and firmware implementation (C, Python)
  • You have commercial experience with STM32, ESP32, Raspberry Pi
  • You have excellent communication, interpersonal and managerial skills
  • You know English very well and use it freely
Nice to have
  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms
  • Experience with Edge AI technologies (Nvidia Jetson, Google Coral)
  • Knowledge of additional foreign languages
