In Katowice, our Regional Delivery Center serves the European markets of prestigious clients, including Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 companies. We are currently seeking experts in international accounting & tax, human resources and payroll, and global entity management to join our growing teams dedicated to managing international funds and supporting internal financial processes.

This role offers the flexibility to work remotely or from our office in Katowice.

Job Purpose

The Payroll Team Leader plays a crucial role in delivering top-notch payroll services within the UK&ROI Payroll Team. Collaborating closely with the Payroll Service Delivery Manager, this position involves supervising the team to uphold a high level of service, handle client escalations, and strive for continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of payroll staff, including allocating tasks, reviewing workloads, and addressing work-related issues in adherence to company policies
  • Perform HR-related activities such as conducting performance reviews and development discussions
  • Act as the main point of contact for the team, ensuring swift and accurate resolution of issues
  • Process client payrolls and set an example for the team in managing clients effectively
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring client satisfaction and continuous improvement
  • Stay updated on payroll legislation and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts on complex matters and ensure accurate processing of payrolls
  • Use Enate for payroll checks and timely responses
  • Ensure all reporting deadlines are met
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Adhere to company policies relating to payroll
  • Assist in various tasks related to Team leaders in the RDC and Bacs Payments for Clients
  • Support SMEs and Internal Accounting team as needed
  • Review charge-out rates and ensure compliance with billing requirements
  • Undertake any other duties as required

Job Requirements

  • IPASS/CIPP or equivalent qualification with substantial payroll experience
  • Experience in end-to-end payroll calculations
  • Detailed knowledge of Paye As You Earn and PRSI/NI
  • Familiarity with Revenue's Online Service and bank transfer processes
  • Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in team management or supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English
