We are currently looking for a skilled Data Analyst who will play a crucial role in steering data governance initiatives in a fast-paced digital media setting. Your contribution will be vital in efficiently managing customer and content data, thus impacting the organization's success positively. Your main task will involve analyzing processes and data to optimize the use of customer and content data across the company.

Role Accountabilities:

Business Analysis:

  • Carry out thorough analysis of business requirements concerning customer and content data.
  • Spot opportunities for enhancing and streamlining data processes and systems.
  • Translate business needs into practical data solutions and recommendations.

Process Analysis:

  • Assess existing data processes and workflows to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Simplify data-related processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement process enhancements to increase productivity and accuracy.

Data Object and Element Definition:

  • Contribute to data governance initiatives concentrating on customer and content data.
  • Contribute to the development of the Enterprise Data Model.
  • Define and outline data objects and elements relevant to customer and content data.
  • Ensure coherence and precision in data definitions company-wide.
  • Establish clear guidelines for data modeling and schema design.

Standards Development:

  • Set up data standards and top practices for managing customer and content data.
  • Apply and uphold data quality standards to preserve data integrity.
  • Continuously supervise and update standards to adapt to changing business requirements and industry trends.

Cooperation and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business targets and objectives.
  • Engage with data owners, stewards, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with data governance.
  • Foster communication and coordination among different teams and departments involved in data management.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and offer advice on data governance concerns.

Requirements:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Solid understanding of data governance principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and analytical mindset.
  • Familiarity with digital environments and technologies.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
  • Proficiency in digital media and/or television environment required.
  • Hands-on experience with data governance frameworks and methodologies.
  • Prior exposure to advertising technology (ad servers, programmatic platforms) is advantageous.

Collaboration:

  • Capability to engage and involve stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong collaborative skills to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
