Who we are looking for

SSGA's Global Funds Management ("GFM") team is searching for a Valuation Oversight Senior Analyst to ensure proper fund oversight programs across SSGA's funds. The Valuation Oversight Team is responsible for daily procedures related to securities valuation oversight, focusing on various funds and accounts in Europe with diverse fund structures.

What you will be responsible for

Perform and review procedures monitoring security prices in the funds Summarize procedure results for the Valuation Committee and Fund Boards of Trustees Maintain valuation oversight procedures and suggest improvements Stay updated on market trends and standards Maintain a controlled environment Monitor pricing issues with vendors Participate in ad-hoc projects

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bloomberg Terminals Understanding of securities valuation and various security types Strong critical thinking and analytical skills Excellent communication skills Highly organized with attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Effective prioritization and meeting deadlines

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in relevant field 2-5 years of related experience Proficient in English
