Warehouse Coordinator

Job Purpose:

Warehouse management and logistics processes to ensure professional handling of incoming goods, warehousing and shipping to customers, including both speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Operation of Shyft Warehouse Systems (Prism AND SAP)
• Receipt and shipment of goods (units for repair).
• Inventory control and spare parts management
• Scrap disposal (BER process)
• Organization of domestic and international shipments

Knowledge Skills and Experience

• Duties involve regular repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting. Manual handling training to be provided;
• Previous warehouse experience;
• Knowledge of the English language to enable communication
• Total customer satisfaction (internally and externally);
• Conscientious, reliable, with good attendance and timekeeping standards;
• Honest, trustworthy, able to work unsupervised;
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;
• Keen to learn and acquire new skills, responds positively to feedback;
• Demonstrates initiative and contributes ideas;
• Pragmatic approach to problem-solving without cutting corners;
• Excellent planning, organising and prioritising skills. Flexible, adaptable, and calm when working under pressure;
• Ability to make decisions and to use initiative;
• Willing to build strong interdepartmental relationships;
