Solutions Consultant

The Solutions Consultant is responsible for handling all technical, solution, and competitive aspects during the Zendesk sales process. As an SC, you need to have a good balance between sales skills and technical knowledge. It's crucial to persuade customer executives about the software's technical advantages. Your role involves being the technical link between Sales Representatives and potential clients, taking charge of the main technical relationship with prospects to ensure their satisfaction by delivering technical details through online channels and virtual meetings.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in software pre-sales.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, persuasion, presentation, and writing abilities.
- Experience in scoping, leading, and executing customer pilots and Proof of Concepts.
- Basic understanding of web/scripting technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SaaS applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, capable of aligning technical solutions with business requirements.
- Proficiency in solution scoping, utilizing existing solutions and contributing to new product development.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and one of: German, French, Spanish, or Italian.
- Adaptability and willingness to work in a versatile environment with varied responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree is a bonus.
- Passionate with strong interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills
- Prior consulting experience implementing enterprise-level software solutions.
- Familiarity with topics like Customer Service software, Employee Experience, ITSM.
- Knowledge in areas such as AI, Telephony (CTI), Business Intelligence, Integrations, REST APIs, Middleware.
- Call Center Experience is highly beneficial.
