Job Title: Pega Lead System Architect at Nordea Bank Abp

We are seeking an experienced and certified Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) who comprehends and can tackle intricate IT and business obstacles and transform them into innovative customer-focused digital experiences. About this Role

You'll become part of one of our Business Banking segments with involvement in the Front to Back Corporate Lending Hub team – dedicated to developing cutting-edge applications and processes in corporate loans at Nordea. From the moment the customer engages with the bank until the loan is completely repaid, we oversee the entire customer and product journey. Our objective is to enhance customer satisfaction, boost business growth, increase employee productivity, and naturally ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

As a Lead System Architect, you will have a crucial role in defining services and establishing best practices as we expand the platform to cater to the escalating adoption of the capability within the bank.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Define development and code review standards
  • Build and maintain common components
  • Shape the future application roadmap
  • Act as Pega development Subject Matter Expert, offering guidance and assistance
  • Define governance to ensure integrity of Pega Layer CakeTM architecture
  • Assist in scoping and sizing of new projects
  • Mentor and support other colleagues
  • Collaborate closely with Pega System company and their consultants

The position is situated in Warsaw/Tricity/Łódź within a hybrid work system.

To excel in this position, we trust that you:

  • Possess substantial hands-on Pega development experience, ideally in the Financial domain
  • Stay updated on the latest Pega features and standards
  • Demonstrate strong technical consulting skills to propel the latest methods for implementing software solutions
  • Have proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, Application Servers, relational and non-relational databases, and integration techniques
  • Understand how Pega Center of Excellence is structured and functions
  • Exhibit leadership skills to spearhead the formulation of standards and operational practices
  • Show robust stakeholder management capabilities
  • Express interest in training and mentoring others to evolve into future System Architects

Your Experience and Background:

  • 3+ years of experience in the capacity of Pega certified Lead System Architect
  • 5+ years actively engaged with Pega systems as a Senior or Lead System Architect
  • 2+ years of Java/J2EE development experience would be advantageous
  • Experience in leading a team of Pega System Architects within a project/agile team
  • Proficiency in English (professional level)
