Poznań Your responsibilities Supporting Head of Marketing and Buying function in providing data for Strategic Plan, as well as Annual budgets and Forecasts for: opex, capex, income and headcount,
Identifying key drivers of performance for the supported function (Marketing & Buying),
Analysing any adverse variance to the plan and provide explanation why this happened,
Providing explanation and insights of the current performance,
Supporting evaluation of marketing activities and their impact on sales,
Challenging Function Heads if planning assumptions are unrealistic or may create unreasonable budget fat
Building and maintaining both ways communication with Functional Managers,
Tracking performance of enhancement initiatives and cost cutting activities,
Providing an analytical support for the key strategic and central business projects and initiatives;
Creating business case with cashflow projection and calculate rate of returns;
Close collaboration with the Head of function in order to identify areas of productivity and results improvement.
Our requirements Master's degree in Finance, Accounting;
Experience in financial analysis, controlling or financial planning (at least 2 years);
Commercial awareness and experience of acting as a trusted business partner to senior colleagues;
Proactive attitude, ambition and self-motivation, with a "can-do" attitude;
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills;
Multi-tasking skills, and ability to operate within tight deadlines;
Strong impact and credibility. Ability and confidence to influence and challenge decision-making;
Strong technical skills - advanced Excel;
Fluent communication in English.
Optional Retail / FMCG experience would be an advantage.
