Inviting applications for the role of Tax Business Transformation Consultant

Responsibilities:

  • Process activities related to statutory and tax accounting and other financial accounting activities
  • Assist in performing As Is analysis during Solution Identification phase.
  • Collects required information for the Change Impact analysis and facilitates impact analysis execution and resolution. Assists in successfully closing of gaps between "as is" and "to be" situation.
  • Provides expert knowledge of the subject area and the project methodology.
  • Writes and reviews level 5 Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs).
  • Support development of User Acceptance Test (UAT) scenarios and test scripts.
  • Support and co-ordinate User Access Testing (UAT)
  • Develops and coordinates communication materials related to New Ways of Working.
  • Identifies training needs and conducts trainings for end users.
  • Work with the tax platform Implementation Partners to gather, document and challenge specific local tax requirements following a zero-gap approach
  • Provide expert knowledge of the subject area and the transition methodology
  • Log issues and risks that surface during configuration, training or other team activities and follow-through on resolution of those issues

Requirements:

  • Accounting knowledge on Tax and statutory reporting (min 3 years)
  • Experience in implementation of new platforms and transition processes
  • Communicate fluently in English
  • Experience inVAT transactions in sales and purchases, VAT returns preparation and understanding of Excise taxes
  • Capacity to solve problems, identify options and propose a reasoned solution
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in an environment that emphasizes teamwork
  • Ability to prioritize and work well within a dynamic environment
  • Experience in multi-national environment (incl. BPO/SSC)
