Job Title: Warehouse Management System Specialist

Company: Innovative Solutions Ltd.

  • Ensuring supervision and support for maintaining the continuity of the WMS system
  • Supervising the design, development, and implementation of changes within warehouse systems
  • Detecting, analyzing, and assisting in resolving issues in the operation of WMS systems and related IT infrastructure
  • Identifying system and process improvements that streamline logistics operations and increase operational productivity
  • Preparing business and functional requirements and supporting the translation of business needs into technical language
  • Enforcing employees' adherence to best WMS practices according to defined standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Collaborating with IT partners in the development and delivery of system changes
  • Creating documentation of project specifications and configurations
  • Business-side testing by performing a full test path of delivered solutions (including test scenario preparation, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Supporting the team in their personal development and assisting in enhancing their skills
  • Enhancing operational staff knowledge in the field of warehouse systems

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
  • English language proficiency at a minimum of B2 level
  • Experience working with technical documentation in English
  • Extensive knowledge of logistics and warehouse processes
  • Organizational and administrative skills
  • Interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in MS Office systems
  • Familiarity with best practices in warehouse and/or production operations
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (knowledge of Blue Yonder WMS and/or Dematic iQ systems is an additional advantage)
  • Experience working with mechanized/automated operations
  • PL/SQL knowledge - querying databases, building queries
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure equipment such as RF devices, printers, workstations, and other IT equipment related to WMS systems
