Job description:

The IT Service Delivery Functional Lead for Manufacturing SAP will oversee essential functional SAP workstreams in various areas including Finance, Quality Management, Manufacturing, and Procure To Pay. This role involves acting as a liaison between business units, IT Basis, IT Security, and IT Functional Teams. Responsibilities include supporting a managed service provider on complex issues, enhancements, project involvement, and ensuring alignment with best practices. The position requires establishing strong, collaborative relationships across IT and business teams.

Your responsibilities:

Operations

Ensure efficient execution of all operational processes (incident, problem, change, configuration, etc.) related to the service.Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance operations and increase visibility into service performance.Provide guidance to the business on applicable standards, methods, tools, and applications, making informed choices for alternatives.​​​Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with IT and business teams.​Collaborate with technical and business units to reach a consensus on the best solutions for business needs and their implementation.​Identify practical use cases aligning technology outcomes with business objectives.​Propose enhancements to business processes and systems to boost efficiency and outcomes.​Ensure clear communication between business stakeholders and IT teams.

Your qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree requiredBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Business is preferred.ITIL certification is a plus.Minimum of 10 years' experience in IT and Manufacturing.Experience in at least one of the functional areas such as Finance, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or Procure To Pay.Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving.Strong PC skills, working with large datasets (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Physical & mental requirements:

Capable of working independently without supervision.Excellent team player.Able to lead technical teams onshore and offshore.Effective collaboration with cross-departmental teams.Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.Proficient in facilitating discussions and deriving solutions across teams.Self-directed with the ability to meet deadlines and consistently deliver high-quality work.
