Job Purpose and Overview Appfire is looking for a Technical Team Leader.

If you:

Have experience in mentoring and managing engineers; Like being hands-on and continue growing your software developer skills; Look for the dynamic environment when new opportunities appear regularly; Passionate about product development and teamwork then this role might be perfectly tailored to you You will work with the team of 7 outstanding full-stack engineers that develop Canned Responses, Chat for JSM and other products in ITSM field for Atlassian and ecosystems.


You will have a major impact on the products' short- and long-term roadmap, be responsible for technical decisions, career development of the team members and work priorities.


What We Offer Salary Ranges: 25, ,390 PLN gross/month on Contract of employment + Possibility to apply for 50% tax deductible costs on creative works (AKUP/IP tax-deductible costs).

Every Appfire employee is eligible for company equity. 26 paid days off, regardless of years of experience.

Wellness Days:
additional time off each month to recharge and take care of yourself. Indefinite Employment Contract from day one, no trial periods. Private healthcare, including psychological care.

What We Would Like to See Proven record (5+ years) of delivery of multiple complex software development projects or products.


Proven, strong experience in leading (2+ years) development teams using Agile principles and practices, with the proven ability to mentor, motivate and support the growth of engineers.

Up-to-date knowledge of one of the modern Java Script frameworks and back-end platforms , or readiness/commitment to master both if you have specialized in back-end or front-end so far.

Truly engineering approach to solving problems.

Good theoretical foundations of computer science (e.g.

algorithms and computational complexity, OOP) are super practical in the ever-changing landscape of technologies. Goals and data-driven approach to software product development. Strong understanding of web applications , including performance , quality , and security aspects. Good understanding of modern Cloud architectures , and practical experience implementing them in either GCP , AWS or Azure.

You will be responsible for the developers' growth and management, which includes mentoring, performance and salary reviews.

, Collaborate closely with Product Manager, UX Designers and Marketing to shape the product's future and minimize time to market for every product increment.

Our current tech stack includes , Java Script/Type Script, , React, AWS and Google Cloud Platform services BUT it constantly evolves.

You need the openness to use your experience and leverage other programming languages, frameworks, databases, etc.

to make the product better for the users and more competitive on the market. , Ensure the greatest quality of the product, the code, supporting processes & Agile practices (e.g.

teach team through code reviews, improve test coverage, facilitate Scrum ceremonies). , Introduce best coding practices and support the team in implementing new product features. , Take ownership of technical improvements (refactoring, minimize technical debt).
