Risk Vendor Specialist (Third Party Risk Management)

Company and Job Description: Zurich is seeking a Risk Vendor Specialist to join their team in Cracow. This role involves conducting due diligence assessments and ongoing evaluations of third-party vendors through the Synergi platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out due diligence and monitoring assessments with external third parties, issuing reports to Zurich stakeholders
  • Participate in meetings and respond to queries from Zurich stakeholders
  • Utilize Synergi reporting to manage assessments effectively
  • Track and resolve outstanding assessments, ensuring SLAs are met
  • Collaborate with ZGVM to address challenges
  • Provide reports on assessment volumes, turnaround times, and SLAs
  • Propose improvements to processes and training guides
  • Maintain updated SOPs and training guides
  • Attend training sessions and governance forums

Candidate's Profile:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economy, or related field
  • 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (C1 level)
  • Proficient in Excel and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and attention to detail
  • Strong customer service and presentation skills
  • Self-manage and work collaboratively across all levels of authority

Additional Assets:

  • Prior experience in third-party management
  • Interest in broader topics of risk management and IT
  • Knowledge of Insurance/Financial Services regulations
  • Exposure to ICFR
