THIS IS LAKEWAY LINKLakeway Link was founded 2023 and is owned equally by Wallenius and Greencarrier. Our premise is, quite simply, to offer an efficient and more sustainable alternative to road transportation between continental Europe and central Sweden.
During 2024 Lakeway Link launched a unique maritime connection between Poland and Sweden for the transportation of cargo. Our roll-on/roll-off vessels will be able to transport anything that can be packed onto a trailer and or mafi, including high and heavy cargo, the entire way from Gdynia to Västerås and Södertälje through Mälaren or vice versa.
About the position
In this role you need to enjoy combining customer service with more commercial activities. You will build strong customer relations and be part of developing our work processes as well as our customer service approach.
Your main tasks:
- Manage shipping assignments according to customer needs and agreement.
- Handling customer service processes and documentation within the given timeframe, such as booking confirmation, notice of arrival, manifest, invoicing.
- Promoting a positive relationship with clients by ensuring timely and proactive customer service
- Communicating with providers with aim to resolve any potential issues or delays.
- Building and developing both customer and network relations.
- Invoicing and establishing/updating customer records.
- Drive and administering leads and quotes
- Be the primary contact for sales leads with ensuing system registry, qualification, and responses.
- Supporting the sales team handling quoting from both existing and new prospective customers
About you:
We are looking for a person with a service-minded attitude with high motivation and drive.We believe you enjoy developing relations with both customer, business partners and colleagues.
As a person, we think you are proactive, organized and business-minded in your thinking. You should like to work independently and take initiatives, as well as you enjoy being a part of a team. The candidate we are looking for, can manage several responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude towards colleagues, customers and business partners.

About your experience
We are looking for you with minimum 3 years' experience from shipping, preferably from the Ro-Ro segment. It's preferable if you speak one of the Scandinavian languages.
The role requires good interpersonal skills as it involves many internal and external contacts. You possess good knowledge in MSOffice365 and find it easy to learn how to work in new systems. As daily communication takes place in an international environment, it is important that you have good knowledge in Polish and English/Scandinavian language, verbally and in writing.
