Summary

Andersen, an international IT company, is seeking an experienced Lead Backend Developer (.Net + C#) to join its team for collaboration with a company based in the USA.

The client is a global corporate travel payment solution managed by airlines worldwide. The network comprises major airlines issuing charge cards accepted by numerous merchants globally for air, rail, cruise, and travel agency transactions.

The project focuses on building a corporate travel payment network.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with teams to analyze business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Design and implement software solutions using Microsoft .NET framework.
  • Contribute to system design and architecture for scalability and security.
  • Write clean, efficient, and secure code.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure application reliability.
  • Create unit tests and participate in system testing.
  • Optimize application performance for efficiency.
  • Utilize version control systems for source code management.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and technologies for continuous enhancement.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or possess equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a .NET Software Developer.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Tech Lead.
  • Extensive knowledge of C# and the .NET Framework, with a solid grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
  • Ability and readiness to quickly adapt to new languages and business environments.
  • Experience with full lifecycle software development involving cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, and other application frameworks.
  • Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, and Database Design.
  • Experience with payment applications, including PCI, is advantageous.
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum setting.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts.
  • Capable of working effectively in a home-based setup with minimal supervision.
  • English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or above.

Desired skills

  • Experience with SSRS, SSIS, SSAS is a bonus.
