Software Engineer LOAN IQ – M/F/D

Responsibilities

Mission:

You will be part of a new Feature Team located in Warsaw, collaborating with colleagues from France and India. Working with 11 peers and your manager, you will enhance and maintain Loan IQ, an application utilized by the Structured Finance teams. Your main focus as a Software Engineer is to write top-quality code and ensure the application performs well in a production environment. Your tasks will involve working in an Agile setting and applying the best software development practices.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Understanding business requirements alongside business analysts to devise technical solutions
  • Developing code following the best practices of software craftsmanship and quality standards
  • Conducting unit and end-to-end tests throughout the development process
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation
  • Designing and monitoring KPIs aligned with business goals
  • Providing L2 production support
  • Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • University degree, preferably in IT
  • 2-4 years of experience in software engineering

Language skills:

  • Proficiency in English
  • Knowledge of French and Polish is a plus

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Java, Angular, Rest API, SQL
  • Experience in banking/financial services or structured finance is advantageous
  • Thorough understanding of Agile methodology & Software Craftsmanship
