The purpose of the role – why is this a great opportunity?

The main purpose of the role is acting as an independent specialist ensuring on time execution of payments and correct registration ofexpenses by processing incoming invoices and travel expenses. Senior Specialist supports also Team Manager in workload management and incident management on daily basis. Senior Specialist takes part in most complex projects assigned to the team, supporting effective realization of Group Business Service and HQ strategies.

What is the challenge?

  • Processing PO and NPO invoices in a workflow, coding all NPO transactions and executing a process for Travel Expenses
  • Resolvingprice and quantity blocks for all invoices
  • Creating andupdating WorkInstructions andany knowledge management files
  • Initiatingprocess improvements, participatingin and leadingimprovement projects
  • Participating in onboardingnew joiners in the team
  • Maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders
  • Performing ad hoc activities
  • Handlingmost complex vendor and LoB queries and escalations received within given Business Area
  • Creating and maintaining effectively the relationship with stakeholders and FD
  • Managing daily workload within given Business Area
  • Highly engaged to the most complex projects assigned to the team taking various roles, including leadership role and responsibility
  • Acting as a support for Specialists and Juniors; introducing new joiners to assigned role

What you bring to the team

  • Higher university degreeor last year of studies
  • 3+ years of experience in accounts payable and/or travel expenses
  • Continuous improvement practical experience
  • Knowledge of SAPFI (experience in Vendor Invoice Management is an asset)
  • Knowledge of Concur is an asset
  • Knowledge of Ariba is an asset
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of data analysis and communications tools including Excel and Power Point
  • English-atleast B2levelis amust
  • Excellent time management, accuracy, and detail orientation, as well as reliability
  • Strong engagement and focus on achieving goals

Your future team

As our Specialist, you will be part of a team that consists of around 20 people and is responsible for a few service areas like Accounts Payable, Travel and Expense and Procurement Operations. Our team is part of Procurement and Finance Operations and every day we support our colleagues from around the world in reaching the aim of making Lundbeck #1 in Brain Health. Our office is in Kraków. We are enthusiastic about what we do, and we also make time to have fun together.
