The EMEA team is an essential part of Dentons' global operations, focusing on enhancing efficiency, fostering innovation, and promoting collaboration.

You will have the opportunity to work within the Accounts Payable team at Dentons UK and Middle East LLP in Warsaw. Your primary responsibilities will initially involve handling routine cash transactions for the firm, with the potential for role expansion through provided training:

  • Process and manage AP transactions, such as invoices, expense claims, and payment runs across multiple UKME offices.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Execute the weekly supplier payment run using our practice management system (Elite).
  • Creation and verification of all new Vendor and Employee accounts on Elite.
  • Conduct vendor balance reconciliation.
  • Handle bank reconciliation and credit allocations.
  • Assist the UK Cashiers Manager with any necessary ad hoc tasks.
  • Address queries from suppliers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of prior experience in Accounts Payable processes.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • General understanding of VAT Rules related to input tax.
  • Familiarity with potential risk areas in daily transaction processes.
  • Experience in a law firm or professional services environment advantageous.
