We are looking for a new team member to join our cutting-edge Global Institutional Accounting team in the role of Associate, Accounting II. This position is based in Wrocław, Poland - an exciting hybrid setup.

In this role, your contributions will make a difference in the following ways:

  • Complete tasks related to delivering services accurately and punctually for assigned clients, involving activities such as NAV determination, fund performance calculation, expense allocation, and report preparation.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis and oversee reconciliations across various business segments. Identify patterns, offer sophisticated root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
  • Act as a go-to person for junior team members, including workload distribution and overseeing its timely and precise completion.
  • Engage regularly with clients to address inquiries and resolve issues related to fund reports and accounting procedures.
  • Review processes, partake in technical evaluations, and assist in the deployment of accounting software.

To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum B level).
  • At least a few years of relevant professional background (fund accounting, reconciliation, reporting, cash handling, etc.). Prior experience in FA or Reconciliation is a plus.
  • Solid grasp of various market securities – bonds, equities, derivatives – and different market events (e.g., corporate actions).
  • Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel spreadsheet manipulation. Familiarity with advanced functions is desirable.
  • Analytical aptitude demonstrated by hands-on experience with extensive financial/numerical data. Capability in dealing with large, intricate databases and understanding their operations/interactions will be highly regarded.
  • University degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
