Location - Wroclaw, PL; 2-days on site

Salary - 30k-32k PLN Gross Monthly + Company Car + Bonus & more benefits

This world-renowned engineering organization has an urgent requirement for an experienced regional procurement manager to oversee all procurement activity across 4 manufacturing plants in Poland, Hungary, Slovenia and Turkey.

In this position, you will take on a senior management role, reporting to the Regional Procurement Director for Europe and be responsible for a spend of €400M covering all direct and indirect spend that is handled at the local level. You will have direct leadership responsibility over a team of 30 people (Procurement Managers and Buyers) based across the 4 facilities.

Success in this position will be measured by your ability to create savings potential and drive your team to execute those savings. You should be a natural problem solver, able to find solutions where others see problems. If you have experience working in a technical engineering environment and managing international facilities then this position could be the perfect step up in your career.

Key skills required for the position of Regional Procurement Leader:-

  • Expert knowledge of procurement and strategic sourcing at the plant operations level working across a wide range of direct and indirect categories
  • Excellent commercial acumen to extract savings from your spend portfolio and identify other areas to drive value and performance improvement such as cashflow improvements and consignment stock
  • International networking and communication skills to build quality relationships with Plant Directors across all facilities under your control and provide effective leadership to your international procurement team
  • Subject matter expertise of factory operations with ability to work closely with supplier quality assurance (SQA), supply chain, logistics and other key functions
