  • Team Leadership and Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
    • Assign and monitor daily tasks, provide guidance, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, encouraging continuous improvement and best practices.


  • Procurement Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies for both direct and indirect procurement categories.
    • Align procurement strategies with overall business objectives and ensure cost-effective purchasing practices.
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier consolidation.


  • Supplier Relationship Management:
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable and high-quality supply.
    • Conduct supplier evaluations, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance.
    • Develop and implement supplier risk management strategies to mitigate potential supply chain disruptions.


  • Procurement Process Optimization:
    • Design and implement efficient procurement processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Leverage procurement technologies and tools to streamline processes and improve data visibility.


  • Category Management (Direct & Indirect):
    • Manage direct procurement categories, including raw materials, components, and production supplies.
    • Oversee indirect procurement categories, such as office supplies, IT equipment, and services.
    • Develop and execute category management plans to optimize sourcing and achieve cost savings.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with various departments, including production, finance, and IT, to align procurement activities with business needs.
    • Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders and the procurement team to address procurement-related issues and requirements.
    • Support cross-functional projects and initiatives, providing procurement expertise and insights.


  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Develop and maintain procurement reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against goals.
    • Analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Present reports and insights to senior management, providing recommendations for strategic decision-making.



New Shared Service Center|Building a team in Poland from a scratch (transition process)
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in procurement, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, category management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, prefebly SAP S/4 HANA).
  • Implementation of SAP S/4 HANA will be a key merit.
  • Experience in process of transition will be a significant plus.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.
