  • Team Leadership and Management:
    • Lead and mentor a new team of master data specialists to achieve departmental goals and maintain high standards of data quality in a process of transition to Poland.
    • Assign and oversee daily tasks, provide guidance, and conduct performance reviews.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, encouraging professional development and continuous learning.


  • Strategic Data Management:
    • Develop and execute the master data management strategy in alignment with the organization's objectives and data governance policies.
    • Identify and implement best practices and data management frameworks to enhance data quality and efficiency.
    • Manage and prioritize master data projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.


  • Master Data Governance:
    • Establish and enforce data governance standards and policies to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
    • Oversee the implementation of data quality controls and monitoring processes.
    • Handle data-related issues, conflicts, and discrepancies, ensuring they are resolved effectively.


  • Process Improvement and Optimization:
    • Design and implement streamlined processes for data entry, maintenance, and validation.
    • Analyze current processes, identify areas for improvement, and lead initiatives to enhance data management practices.
    • Ensure that new processes are documented and communicated effectively to the team.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with stakeholders from IT, procurement, sales, finance, and other departments to ensure master data aligns with business needs and processes.
    • Facilitate communication between departments to address data-related issues and support data integration efforts.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for master data-related queries and initiatives.


  • Data Integration and System Oversight:
    • Oversee the integration of master data into ERP and other business systems.
    • Coordinate with IT teams to ensure data migrations, system upgrades, and data integrations are executed smoothly.
    • Evaluate and recommend data management tools and technologies to support the team's objectives.


  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Develop and manage reporting mechanisms to monitor data quality, team performance, and project progress.
    • Analyze data trends and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and business improvements.
    • Prepare and present reports to senior management on data management activities and achievements.

  • Experience in master data for global SSC
  • Fluent English
  • German or French may be additional plus
  • Knowledge of SAP, preferably SAP S/4 HANA (experience in systems implementation and cetralisation will be a key merit)
  • Experience in a process of a transition or standarisation
  • Leadership experience
  • Global Master Data strategic leadership
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices
