ENGIE Zielona Energia is a division based in Katowice, focusing on providing energy solutions to businesses and offering PPA contracts with 100% renewable energy.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to IT/IS projects for enhancing commercial activities through digitalization and process automation.
  • Managing renewable energy portfolios and electricity contracts in IT systems efficiently.
  • Engaging in projects to implement regulatory changes in the Polish and European energy markets.
  • Communicating with external partners to collect and process data.
  • Ensuring data quality and integration in existing processes and setting up new ones as needed.
  • Assisting business users in utilizing IT systems.
  • Developing software and documentation for assigned tasks.
  • Collaborating with teams at local and group levels for projects and ongoing tasks.
  • Coordinating with various company departments to address mutual requirements.

Skills and background for success:

  • Advanced education in computer science, math, energy, or economics.
  • Experience with business systems and handling extensive datasets.
  • Familiarity with system IT modeling using CASE tools and programming skills in Python/R and other languages.
  • Knowledge of systems integration, cloud environments, and Polish electricity market mechanisms.
  • Experience in statistics, machine learning, and 5+ years in a similar role.
  • Interpersonal skills, motivation, analytical thinking, and proficiency in Polish and English.
