The Vendor Manager (VM) is responsible for managing project supplier and vendor scope, timelines, and costs for awarded opportunities throughout the project life cycle. The VM ensures operational and financial oversight, and risk and issue management of vendors, acting as the main point of contact for vendors and working closely with the global project team for quality service delivery.

In this position, you will be:

  • Experienced in clinical research and the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and CRO industry
  • A nimble learner and creative team member
  • A good communicator and fair conflict manager

Responsibilities of the Vendor Manager include:

  • Overseeing and managing study-specific vendors throughout the project life cycle
  • Reviewing vendor contracts and ensuring study requirements are represented
  • Managing vendor project budget, scope, and timelines in partnership with the PM
  • Collaborating with Innovaderm SMEs to ensure specifications clarity for vendors
  • Developing and maintaining the project Vendor Management Plan
  • Analyzing discrepancies and developing corrective actions
  • Leading project-specific vendor meetings and internal/client-facing project meetings
  • Managing vendor performance assessments and risk management
  • Reviewing, managing, and verifying vendor invoices
  • Ensuring timely filing of vendor-related documents in study eTMF

Other Responsibilities include:

  • Participating in functional and corporate initiatives and special projects
  • May get involved in business development opportunities and vendor assessments
  • Backing up VMO team members for planned and unplanned absences

Requirements for the ideal profile:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in science or relevant field

Experience:

  • 3+ years of clinical research experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or CRO
  • Project management experience, PMP Certification is a plus
  • Good knowledge of regulations and guidelines in related industries
  • Experience in dermatology, aesthetics, or rheumatology is beneficial
