Join us, and turn complex information into powerful insightsKraków - based opportunity with hybrid work model (1 day/week in the office).As a Data Analyst you will be working for our client, a global financial institution undertaking a large-scale data transformation project focused on enhancing data quality, modernising reference data processes, and supporting cross-regional teams. You will be contributing to the improvement of data lake environments, refining user stories for engineering teams, and ensuring high-quality analytical outputs that support strategic decision-making. You will be collaborating with technical and business stakeholders, applying your analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, optimise existing solutions, and deliver consistent value across multiple business segments.Your main responsibilities:Analysing and enhancing data quality within data lake systemsReviewing and improving PL/SQL code while tracking changes in GitHubCollaborating with Scrum teams to groom and refining user storiesAligning static reference data across multiple business segmentsIdentifying and addressing data gaps in core banking and account systemsDeveloping advanced SQL queries and Python Pandas scriptsParticipating in planning sessions, status updates, and Sprint reviewsTroubleshooting issues and providing timely supportCommunicating analytical findings to stakeholdersCoordinating with cross-regional teams to ensure data consistencyYou're ideal for this role if you have:Demonstrated knowledge of Hadoop or Google Cloud PlatformStrong business analysis and requirements-gathering capabilitiesExperience working within Agile/Scrum environments using JIRA and ConfluenceAbility to deconstruct requirements into detailed, actionable componentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and presentation abilities in EnglishSolid organisational skills and ability to manage work at various stagesExpertise in system analysis including APIs, data mapping, and integrationsHands-on experience in data masteringUnderstanding of data governance processes and data lake architecturesIt is a strong plus if you have:Experience with metadata managementKnowledge of data architecture and data modellingPractical exposure to physical data modellingExperience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDBPrior experience in financial services environmentsWe offer you:ITDS Business Consultants is involved in many various, innovative and professional IT projects for international companies in the financial industry in Europe.
