Axpo has been operating in the Polish market for over 20 years now. It employs about 170 people and is one of the largest independent offtakers of green energy. Customers in Poland benefit from tailor-made offers for the purchase and supply of energy and gas based on structured and long-term contracts. Axpo Polska also provides services to more than 25,000 companies from the small and medium-sized enterprises segment and, since April 2020, it has only been offering energy with a certified origin from renewable energy sources. While supporting energy transition in Poland, the Company also implements large-scale photovoltaic projects.


Currently we are looking for: Solution Architect (f/m)


Your responsibilities:

  • Gathering and documenting detailed business requirements, while providing support and consulting for business teams.
  • Translating business needs into specific tasks for development teams and designing comprehensive end-to-end solutions that meet those needs.
  • Defining the system architecture, including components, modules, interfaces, and interactions.
  • Evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools for project implementation.
  • Collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to development teams, focusing on creating scalable, secure, and easy-to-maintain solutions.
  • Regularly reviewing and updating technical solutions to ensure their ongoing optimization.
  • Keeping up with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.


Our requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems analysis, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role, with strong understanding of software development and system architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in requirements analysis, documentation, and translating complex business needs into actionable development tasks.
  • Expertise in designing end-to-end technical solutions that are scalable, secure, and maintainable, while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Experience with technology selection, evaluation, and architecture repositories (e.g., LeanIX).
  • Experience in designing and documenting architectures and applications in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Capability to develop system roadmaps based on business goals.
  • Fluency in Polish and English.
