Responsibilities:Negotiation with Suppliers: Lead negotiations to secure the best possible terms, pricing, and service levels.Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers.Market and Data Analysis: Analyze market trends, evaluate supplier performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.Order and Contract Management: Ensure accuracy and timeliness in managing purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation.Cross-Department Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal departments to align procurement with operational needs.Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve supply chain issues efficiently and proactively.Process Improvement: Implement and support process enhancements to increase procurement efficiency and productivity.Compliance and Standards: Ensure that procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.Requirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a senior or independent role.Analytical Skills: Strong ability to work with data, assess market conditions, and drive decision-making based on insights.Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of successful negotiations with suppliers and service providers.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and with external partners.Customer Orientation: Strong focus on internal customer satisfaction and service quality.Ability to Work Under Pressure: Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Adaptability: Flexible and responsive to changing business needs and environments.Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in handling documentation, pricing, and supplier agreements.Technical Understanding: Basic technical knowledge related to procured products or services.Languages: Fluent in English and German (both written and spoken); knowledge of the local language is an asset.Organizational Skills: Strong time management and task prioritization abilities.About UsArcelorMittal is the world's leading steel and mining company, with a presence in 60 countries and primary steelmaking facilities in 15 countries.
