Key parts of your role will involve coaching the development team on engineering quality and reviewing requirements early in the development process to proactively identify and prevent risk. You will work with a highly collaborative team, contributing to both functional and non-functional testing. Key responsibilities:Coach teams on creating and maintaining end-to-end tests using Playwright (TypeScript) and API automation with RestAssured (Java)Lead by example through contributing to the automated tests, hands-on manual and exploratory testing and tackling the more complex testing challengesIntegrate tests into CI/CD pipelines via GitHub ActionsCollaborate closely with teams to review requirements early, identifying potential quality risks and preventing defectsFoster a culture of quality by working with developers, product managers, and other quality engineers to ensure clarity and alignment on quality standardsContinuously improve QA processes, focusing on early defect detectionExperience with BrowserStack Expected competences and knowledge+5 years of IT experience in test automationDemonstrable experience coaching development teams to produce high quality softwareProven ability to identify the risks in requirements at an early stage and steer the team to a development process that addresses those risksSolid understanding of QA fundamentals: test design, automation, manual testing, and defect preventionStrong expertise with Playwright (TypeScript) and RestAssured (Java)Experience with BrowserStack and GitHub Actions for CI/CDPassion for continuous learning and proactive quality improvement Technologies you'll work withTypeScriptPlaywrightJavaRest AssuredGithub ActionsBrowserStack Client – why choose this particular client from the Jit portfolio?Our client is a Scandinavian supplier of software and services for purchasing and tendering processes in highly formalized conditions, such as orders in accordance with public procurement law at the level of the European Union or individual member states.
