Our customer is the leader in providing modern business solutions.We are expanding our operations in Poland and strengthening our finance team with the addition of a Chief Accounting Specialist. This role is based in our Warsaw office and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment within the renewable energy sector. Project information:Industry: Renewable EnergyLocation: Warszawa; hybrid working model (3x2)Languages: Polish & English Type of employment: long-term contract of employmentSalary range: 17000 - 18000 PLN gross Responsibilities:Oversee and coordinate all accounting activities within the organizationContribute to the preparation and submission of tax declarations (VAT, VAT-EU, CIT, PIT)Assist in drafting annual and interim financial reportsPrepare financial analyses, statements and documentation for internal management as well as external parties (e.g. tax authorities, social insurance, statistics office, banks, etc.)Supervise payment processes, monitor settlements and ensure proper reconciliation of accountsTrack changes in fiscal regulations and implement required adjustmentsReview and manage financial risk instruments such as insurance policies and bank guarantees, supporting decision-making in cooperation with other departmentsRepresent the company during audits, inspections and proceedings with financial authoritiesMonitor costs and revenues, ensuring accurate recording and reportingAddress ongoing financial issues, including corrections and re-invoicingSupport month-end and quarter-end closing proceduresEnsure compliance with internal financial and operational standardsPromote best practices, encourage adherence to corporate policies and foster a culture of quality and continuous improvementRequirements:Master's degree in economics, finance or accountingMinimum of 2 years' professional experience in similar positionExcellent command of both Polish and EnglishStrong organizational and time management abilitiesAttention to detail and a high level of accuracySolid interpersonal and communication skillsWe offer:Full-time job agreement based on employment contractFlexible working model and hoursPrivate medical careSport cardLife insuranceAdditional day off (birthday celebration)Role with direct impact on the company's financial operations and decision-making processesA chance to join a fast-growing and mission-driven company in the renewable energy space
