For over 40 years it has been involved in broadly understood transport and thanks to the experience gained so far, it plays the role of an active player on the most important European markets. The company is currently looking for a person for the position of International Freight Forwarding Manager. As a person in this position, you will have a direct impact on the expansion of the newly established branch of the company

Head of International Freight Forwarding Department

Responsibilities:

  • Creation from scratch and development of a new branch in the company
  • Organizing activities in the field of international and domestic freight forwarding with the implementation of procedures
  • Managing a team and taking care of its constant development, coordinating work
  • Conducting market analysis taking into account the actions of competitors
  • Monitoring transport documentation
  • Cost optimization
  • Reporting, implementing and supervising implemented projects


Requirements:

  • Experience in the position of International Freight Forwarder and Leader
  • Experience in team management
  • Good knowledge of English language (B1+)
  • Easiness in contacts with others :)
  • Knowledge of procedures in the field of international transport
  • Independence in making decisions
  • Willingness to develop and quick reaction to the situation of changing transport market
  • Ability to set and prioritize tasks (you will be performing many tasks in limited time)


Additional advantages:

  • Knowledge of an additional language (e.g. French, German)
