Position Overview
Territory Account Manager:
- Lays the foundation for a long-term collaboration with clients, responsible for all core job responsibilities of Key Account Manager/ Medical Representative for the territory
- Entrepreneur who builds partnerships with potential clients and maintains relationships with all decisional stakeholders at the account level (HCPs, pharmacy chains, hospitals, IVF Clinics)
- Covers the Organon portfolio in selected accounts, responsible for the business result of the assigned accounts in the sales & geographical area
- Proposes, adapts, and implements a yearly plan for HCPs and pharmacy promotion, activities, and budget for the whole area of responsibility to achieve sales targets
- Manages accounts within the territory by assessing and developing business opportunities through contacts with key decision-makers, local stakeholders, etc.
- Manages investments and propositions to optimize investment process for sales target achievement
- Builds internal relationships with cross-functional team (Demand Planning, Customer Service, Marketing, Commercial, Market Access & Pricing)
- Supports changes and explains the consequences for changes to higher management
- Leads projects on the level of HCPs, pharmacies/pharmacy chains, IVF Clinics, hospital activities
Responsibilities:
Strategy & Execution
- Develops customers' action plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders and coordinates related activities implementation
- Prepares business analysis of the commercial environment
- Performs accounts "diagnosis" and segmentation
- Defines and reaches measurable goals and KPIs for the HCPs, IVF clinics, and pharmacy chains channels
- Executes account-based activities according to Compliance Code & Ethics
Development of Value Propositions
- Identifies value differentiators linked to Organon products and services per key account needs
- Leverages resources within Organon to deliver results
- Collaborates with Customer Service, Marketing, Pricing, Market Access Management, Legal, Administrative functions
- Shares information about clients and activities through the active use of the existing CRM system
- Creates and maintains a database of stakeholders for the territory
- Makes value-based, outcome-driven decisions
Networking & Relationship Building
- Maps influencing patterns within key accounts and targets
- Communicates effectively with commercial stakeholders
- Establishes credibility with external and internal stakeholders
Negotiation
- Negotiates business objectives according to targets and KPIs
- Develops value-added propositions to support business objectives
Educational and Experience Requirements
- Education – higher degree (business or medicine/pharmaceutical profiles)
- Years of experience as a Key Account Manager/ Regional Sales Manager/ or Senior Medical Representative
- English knowledge on a business level
- Skills: Negotiating, business critical, analytical
- Understanding of pharmaceutical environment complexity
- 'Out of the box' thinking, innovation mindset
- Positive & energy-driven behavior
- Proven track record of working in a matrix multi-cultural organization
- Willingness to travel
