Project Overview

Within our agile operating model, crews are dedicated to developing products and services to meet client needs, bringing together multiple autonomous pods. Your role will be part of the Workbench pod in Krakow, specifically aligned with the Digital Capabilities & Core Platforms Crew in the IB Operations Stream. This team focuses on tasks like creating platform decommissions, migrating business processes, and finding new solutions to address business challenges within IB Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Co-create and uphold a well-defined product vision, strategy, and roadmap for expanding our digital platform solutions
  • Establish and maintain Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) that are in line with the product and business strategies
  • Engage with end users in IB Operations to showcase potential solutions and identify processes in need of transformation and migration to new platforms
  • Objectively assess potential use cases, weighing business value against solution costs, while seeking opportunities to leverage existing capabilities
  • Influence the design of new solutions to bring benefits to multiple stakeholders wherever possible
  • Maintain high-quality pod and iteration backlogs in Gitlab
  • Support in sourcing relevant data, ensuring adherence to the firm's policies
  • Secure necessary governance approvals for new use cases or solutions
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in the AI/ML space, leveraging external perspectives and insights to enhance our services
  • Address obstacles hindering the team's objectives, align with other pods and crews as necessary, and represent your pod to internal stakeholders and clients

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experienced senior business analyst/Product Manager in agile settings with a solid grasp of agile delivery frameworks and product management
  • Proficient in identifying user pain points through research and translating them into requirements
  • Skilled in analyzing business processes and documenting pre- and post-transformation states
  • Capable of setting and achieving outcome-driven goals, including the use of OKRs (Objectives and Key Results)
  • A team player with high personal standards, a proactive and enthusiastic demeanor, a genuine agile mindset, and strong analytical and problems-solving capabilities
  • Excellent active listening and communication skills to establish connections and partnerships across all levels
  • Focus on driving value through adoption and utilization beyond technical delivery

DESIRED SKILLS

• Familiarity or expertise with Kafka, Flink, Elastic search, and Flowable technologies
